Worplesdon Phoenix Exhibition Match Postponed!

The planned Exhibition Match between Worplesdon Phoenix Select X1 and Worplesdon Rangers U17 Hurricanes scheduled for Sunday 3rd January 2016 will now be postponed due to the wet weather and pitch conditions.  A pitch inspection carried out at 4.30pm today (Saturday) revealed a flooded car park and too much surface water for a viable match tomorrow, given that more rain is forecast for tonight and into tomorrow morning.

We will re-schedule the Exhibition Match later in the season but meantime (weather permitting!) will get the new pitch hire arrangement at Worplesdon Memorial Ground under way as planned.
