Reception Mini-Rangers 2024-25
Reception Mini-Rangers
School Year: Reception
Team Profile
Our youngest Mini-Rangers join us from either pre-Reception or Reception class and we welcome younger siblings of our older Mini-Soccer players if they like the idea of coming along to kick a ball about on the same pitch as their older brother or sister! Training focuses on basic ball skills (such as dribbling and shooting) and co-ordination. At the end of the session, there is usually a match between the children. These young players have special size small footballs and goals, with the aim of learning while having fun and enjoying their football. Parents are encouraged to join in with the coaching and have some fun as well!
From the 2023-24 season onwards, a new collaboration with Assure Coaching has seen our Reception and U6 Mini-Rangers coached each Saturday morning by qualified children’s coaches, with a maximum of 15 players to each coach.
Assure Coaching
Why did we choose Assure Coaching? Because at Assure Coaching, they tailor every session to meet the needs of individuals of all abilities. Their bespoke programmes are designed to challenge and inspire, helping the children to develop the skills and mindset needed to perform at their best.
