Teachers’ Whistles ‘Too Aggressive’

Whistle Stop?

Whistle Stop?

Word reaches Planet Football that a primary school in Milton Keynes has banned whistle-blowing to signal the end of playtime over concerns that children might be afraid of the noise.  Teaching staff at St Monica’s Catholic Primary School must instead raise their hands to attract attention as using a whistle is deemed ‘too aggressive’.

A Teaching Assistant acted as whistle-blower by bringing the new policy to national attention through the pages of Country Life magazine.

Any thoughts from Mini-Soccer referees out there?
