Results Round-Up: Sunday 8th January 2017

The footballing New Year kicked off in style today, with the Club boasting a 71% win rate amongst those senior teams who were granted the opportunity to run off the festive excesses of the past three weeks.

One of the season’s new upstarts, the U12s, notched up a 2-1 win against Goldsworth Park Rangers Crusaders today, securing second place in their League with two games in hand.  Not bad going for a late start….

Not to be outdone, the U13 Warriors travelled up the A3 to Epsom, where they encountered G4G FC Blues, securing three points with a 5-1 win.

U14 Trojans kept up their pre-Christmas form with another six-goal spectacular (and a clean sheet to boot) against Walton Casuals Juniors Wolves, at home.

Meanwhile, the U15 Hawks started 2017 as they mean to go on, with an emphatic 4-0 home win against Byfleet Village.

And finally, on home turf, the omnipotent U18 Hurricanes struck terror into the heart of the SPL Premier Elite Division once again, with a 2-0 win against Albury Eagles.
