Due to the Club’s continued growth this season and the arrival of many new volunteers, we are pleased to confirm details of in-house Emergency First Aid and Safeguarding Children training courses, to be run in December. Both courses will be delivered by FA trainers and are contributory modules to a full FA Level 1 Coaching badge. The two courses take the form of midweek, evening workshops.
Ideally, we want all our Managers and Coaches to have these qualifications. If you currently do not possess EFA or Safeguarding certificates (or if your certificate is due to expire shortly), please confirm your willingness to attend these courses as soon as possible by emailing our Club Secretary, Clare Jones, on firstname.lastname@example.org.
Spaces will be allocated on a ‘first come, first served’ basis, with those new teams currently without EFA/Safeguarding qualifications given priority.
The two evening workshops will be held at The Ground Floor Hall, Queen Elizabeth Park Centre, Railton Road, Guildford, Surrey, GU2 9LX. There is plenty of parking adjacent to the building in the former Budgens car park.
Dates are as follows:
Thursday 1st December 2016 7.00pm-10.00pm: Emergency First Aid
Thursday 15th December 2016 7.00pm-10.00pm: Safeguarding Children.
