U8 Pirates – Meadow Sports Summer Tournament

On Sunday the U8 Pirates attended their first tournament of the season at the Meadow Sports FC Summer Tournament (in Old Woking).

The boys played their first 7×7 match on the bigger pitch. It was a flippin’ hot day, and the boys did really well to keep up their energy levels. The tournament wasn’t a ‘competitive’ one, the team did well with a 5 match result being Win – 1, Draw – 2, Lost – 2.

Thanks to Dave and Scott for keeping the boys motivated all day, and thanks to Helen and Paul for bringing the gazebo.

We have another one on Sunday, so hopefully it will be a bit cooler for everyone.
