Team Profile
Our youngest Mini-Rangers join us from either pre-Reception or Reception class and we welcome younger siblings of our older Mini-Soccer players if they like the idea of coming along to kick a ball about on the same pitch as their older brother or sister! Training focuses on basic ball skills (such as dribbling and shooting) and co-ordination. At the end of the session, there is usually a match between the children. These young players have special size small footballs and goals, with the aim of learning while having fun and enjoying their football. Parents are encouraged to join in with the coaching and have some fun as well!
From season 2016-2017, a new collaboration with Woking FC has seen our U6 Mini-Rangers coached each Saturday morning by qualified Woking academy/Football In the Community (FITC) coaches, with a maximum of 15 players to each coach.
