Sutton United FC Academy Trials and BTEC Programme for U17s
Ultimate Football Academy (www.ultimatefootballacademy.co.uk) are once again partnering with Sutton United FC to support their official academy programme from September.
Some U17 players will be thinking about the choices for their academic pathway next season and Ultimate Football are also offering a first class BTEC programme at Nescot College. The programme is supported by UEFA Licence coaches & ex – professional players. They are in discussion with A-Level providers, and are confident they will be able to offer an A-Level study programme from September. The current programme is available for learners whom wish to embark on a wide range of courses ranging from Art & Design, Business, Creative Media,
Construction, Motor Vehicle, Travel, Sports and other subjects. Please visit www.nescot.ac.uk to view all the courses which will be available.
The next trial at Sutton United runs on Monday 4th April 2016, 5-7pm. Please note if you plan to attend that the playing surface is 4G – no metal studs allowed.
Nescot College are supporting the study programme and they will be providing the educational needs of the players through a wide range of BTEC (Level 1 – Level 3) courses from September, that will synchronise perfectly with the playing and training opportunity on offer, including
– UEFA A & B Licence coaching staff
– Psychology workshops
– Physiotherapy assessments
– Pathway into professional clubs
– 12-15 hours training each week
– BTEC Education at Nescot College
– Play in the Conference Youth Alliance League
– Learn new skills and qualifications e.g FA Level 1 coaching
– Strength and conditioning sessions.
