Congratulations go to Darcey Pott, a defender with WRFC U12 Warriors, who has just made it through to the FA Girls Player Development Centre (PDC) for the second year, competing against 50+ candidates.

A County FA-run programme for U9 (optional), U11, U13 and U15 age groups, the PDC is designed to bridge the gap between grassroots and Centre of Excellence football.

The Centre is delivered across a minimum of 15 weeks, and access to the PDC is through a trial process.  Players are encouraged to play for their local grassroots team as well as attending the PDC and will play a minimum of 2 fixtures with the PDC alongside their grassroots fixture programme.
