Under 7s & U8s Host Woking FITC at St Joseph’s

Today saw the start of the Club’s collaboration with Woking FC extend to other Mini-Soccer age groups, as two Woking FC Football in the Community coaches set out their stall at the St Joseph’s all-weather pitch, working initially with the U7s.

Dan Mahony and Liam Allen were on hand to help structure and run the session and work as coach mentors to our own coaches, Angel Aburto and Martin Twist.  The Club’s plan over time is to run more ‘coach the coach’ sessions of this type, as part of its longer-term Coach and Player Development Strategy.

Following their session with the U7s, next up were the U8s to benefit from Dan and Liam’s wisdom.

Woking FITC will be working on a rotational basis with the Club’s U7s, U8s, U9s and U10s at St Joseph’s throughout the season.  For further details of the rota, click here.
