Results Round-Up: Sunday 13th November 2016

With several postponed fixtures, one outright cancellation and one ‘no-game’ this weekend, you might be forgiven for thinking that interest in Sunday youth football around the Surrey borders peaked last week!

Our newly formed U14 Lions proved to be the stars of the show, moving into the top slot of Division 2, with a 3-2 win at home against Guildford City Harriers.

Elsewhere, the U12s’ fixture against Yateley Youth United FC was cancelled, as their opponents regrettably folded this week.

The U13 Warriors drove half way round the M25 anti-clockwise for a third-round SYL Invitation Cup fixture against Old Coulsdon Colts Blazers, narrowly being defeated 3-2.

Meanwhile, there was a point on offer for U16 (SYL), in their League clash against Wandgas Youth, while U15 Hawks and U18 Hurricanes both unfortunately suffered League defeats today.
