Results Round-Up: Sunday 11th December 2016

‘Tis the season of postponements once more, with U17s and U18s the victims today, so commiserations to the players for not getting their weekly run-out.

That leaves today’s heroes as the U13 Warriors, notching up a 6-1 away win in the League to CB Hounslow United Greens and U14 Lions, who maintained their League momentum with a 4-1 away victory over Alexandra United.

Elsewhere, a number of teams were forced to relinquish their Cup ambitions.  The U12s forfeited their right to Cup glory in a 3-0 away defeat at the hands of GPR Crusaders, while U14 Trojans drew a challenging third-round County Cup fixture against Surrey Youth League Premier Elite team Kingstonian Youth Royals – and conceded after eight goals went in.  To compound matters, a late result came through during the week from last Sunday: regrettably a League Cup elimination match for U16 SYL, who were defeated 5-1 away by Meadow Sport.
