REMINDER: WRFC Trophy Day Sunday 5th June 2016

Don’t forget that our annual Trophy Day event will soon be upon us!  The date for your diary is Sunday 5th June 2016 at Fairlands Community Hall and grounds.

To celebrate the Club’s 15th anniversary, we will also have a Fun Day running at the same time as the awards, so fingers crossed for some good weather! Weather permitting, the Fun Day will be held in the grounds of Fairlands Hall, outside on the football pitch.

Attractions booked so far include beat the goalie, disco dome and two bouncy castles, BBQ, bar, tea tent and tuck shop, manager in the stocks, cake stall, tin can alley, target goal, chocolate/summer toy tombola, wellie-wanging, treasure map, sweets in a jar and pick a lolly, keepie uppie competition, silent auction (football memorabilia), 50-50, raffle, lucky dip, ice-cream and lots more!

Meanwhile, indoors, Deputy Chairman Brian Slyfield will be organising the Trophy Day event.  Timings for the various age group presentations can be found by clicking here.

Please would players, parents and team officials arrive in good time for their session, preferably spending some money and having some fun outside on the field before and after receiving their awards!  As always, we politely request that teams making up each of the four age group blocks (see timings, above) stay until all the awards in their block have been given out.

We hope that everyone will join us on June 5th, bring family and friends and have a great time to round off what has been an excellent season for Worplesdon Rangers FC.
