New U12 Team Closes the Gap With Narrow Defeat In the County Cup

Pre-Match Briefing
Launched only one week ago, our new U12s are quickly finding their feet and training hard as they shape up for the new season, their last at 9v9.
This week offered a distraction from League activity as the boys faced their First-Round County Cup game against Leatherhead Youth Colts. Although the team lost 1-2 at Weyfield, their performance was viewed as a significant improvement on last week’s League game and offered spectators a glimpse of their true potential under new Managers and Coaches Jim Warner, Bobby Dunne, Les West and Darren Whitfield.
Rangers scored first and held their lead until half-time. Despite a battling performance, they conceded two goals in the second half as Leatherhead came back from behind.
Some of the action from today is captured below….well done boys!
