New Season Gets Off To a Flying Start at Northmead Mini-Soccer Centre

The 2016-2017 season started in earnest today with the Club’s Mini-Soccer Centre at Northmead Junior School opening its doors at 10.00am to our youngest players, old and new.

Football Cat (who declined a photo-op) came to greet the players and then promptly withdrew for mousing duties once it all got too busy.  The U8 Pirates received the prize for the keenest team, with Manager Dave Blake arriving at 08.45 to set things up (thanks Dave!).  Guess who was the last person to leave….!

Today marked the start of our new collaboration with Woking FC and coaches Adam Maltby and Ryan Dent commenced their work with the Under 6s who this season will benefit from their expertise.  Even the shyest new player appeared to be bowled over by Adam and Ryan’s approach and they quickly got stuck in, with proud Dad’s (no Mum’s today?) watching from the sidelines.
