Results Round-Up: Sunday 5th February 2017

Despite boggy pitches, the majority of our senior teams were out doing battle today.  Only the U12s and the U17s had the luxury of breakfast in bed, with no match to play.

We recorded a 57% win rate, based on the seven matches that were played today.

Congratulations to both teams in our U14 age group (Trojans and Lions), as well as those at U16 (SYL and SPL squads) for their respective wins: the U14 teams both away at Abbey Rangers, while the U16 teams both tasted victory away from home.  Meanwhile, the U15 Hawks picked up a valuable point in their League campaign, hosting a 1-1 draw against Horseley Youth Cannons.

Commiserations this week to our U13 Warriors who faced stern opposition at home in a 6-1 defeat against Merton in SYL League Division 2 – and to our normally storm-proof U18 Hurricanes, who suffered a 5-1 defeat away against Imber Court Juniors in the SPL Premier Elite.
