Team Profile
The Lions were formed at the outset of the 2016/7 season, due to a big influx of new players into the age group. The team comprises a mix of these new players and some former Trojans, with a new management team of Sean Crooke and Phil Gaff. We play our games in Division 2 of the The Surrey Primary League (SPL).
Our first aim is to enjoy our football and give all players an even amount of match time. We try to make the training fun but still encourage the team to play good football and not be afraid of having the ball. We ask all the players to help and support each other and instil the mentality of a team – not a group of individuals. We have received great parental support already since forming as a new team and we continue to grow stronger together.
