Team Profile
The Under 8 Pirates had their first proper taste of match football last year and then played in four tournaments that the players and the Coaches thoroughly enjoyed! We base our training on fun games and diluted football drills; passing, tackling, shooting, goalkeeping etc. We try hard to rotate players in all positions, matches and training. We do work hard on trying to create a good team spirit and encouraging respect to fellow team players, opposition and officials.
We currently have one team playing matches during the 2016-17 season but are still hopeful of a possible second team, depending on volunteer support to help set up and run it.
