Team Profile
The Buccaneers were formed at the start of the 2016-7 season, after the squad grew to such a size that it became possible to launch a second team at this age group.
Our team motto is: ‘Have fun and play great football’. We look to coach and develop the players with modern technqiues but always with the aim that they are enjoying themselves and having fun with their friends and team mates without the pressure of ‘win at all costs’.
Our philosophy is one of equality and team work where all the players will be coached to develop their skills both individually – and their understanding of the importance of being in a team. With this approach, all players will receive equal time learning and playing in all positions from goalkeeper, defender, midfield and attack to further their overall game understanding as well as their passing, shooting and control technique. We feel this is important at such an early age of their football development and that it will give them a broader skill set as they move up through the age groups.
