Team Profile
The team are coached by Andy Elton and Sean Crooke, both FA qualified and experienced coaches in youth football. The players are assembled from a number of local schools and some have been registered with the Club since they started playing football. There is a good team spirit among the players, who come along to socialise with each other as well as enjoy their football.
The Trojan’s style of play can be described as expansive and attacking, with the emphasis on good crisp passing throughout the team. This is achieved by concentrating on individual player development at training, with varied and targeted practice drills. We also develop the player’s ability to play as part of a team; again with a variety of team-based practice drills.
The team are currently in U13 Division 3 of the Surrey Primary League. We play our matches on Sundays and selection is based on several factors including ability, attitude, commitment and enthusiasm.
The squad is always looking to evolve and improve. New players are always welcome to come and have a go and see what they think. This season we move to the 11 a-side game, so we are actively seeking new recruits now.
