Woking FC Add Goalkeeper Training To the Mix….

The Club’s tie-up with Woking FC extended further at Cardwells Keep yesterday as Woking FC Football In the Community Coach Liam Allen provided a goalkeeping masterclass for WRFC ‘keepers.

Liam’s first shift from 10.00-11.00 saw him work with a selection of goalkeepers from the Club’s U7s to U11s, with the second shift accommodating more of the same from U12 – U18.

Commented Sean Crooke, Club Development Officer on the morning’s coaching sessions: ‘Goalkeepers are often a neglected audience in grass-roots football coaching and we are delighted to have this opportunity to work with Woking FC on behalf of our ‘keepers up and down the age groups.  On the basis of today’s success, we aim to deliver a follow-up session early in 2017.  Thanks Liam for all your hard work today; we look forward to an increase in clean sheets in the weeks ahead!’
