Woking FC Goalkeeper Coaching Clinics Go Down a Storm at Cardwells Keep

Our Junior Shot-Stoppers at the Cardwells Keep Session

A slightly snowy covered pitch and Club Development Officer Sean Crooke welcomed the players to the second Goalkeeping Coaching Session at Cardwells Keep on Saturday 11th February but credit to the players, it didn’t dampen their enthusiasm to get involved.

The first session from 10.00-11.00 saw players from U7 to U10 enjoyed some varied drills, led by Liam with the help of our very own Steve Franklin from the U8 Buccaneers. Thanks to Steve for helping out!

The second session got underway at 11.00 for the U11 to U14’s in heavier snow – but again, although some looked and most probably felt cold, the players soon got in the swing of things with a mixture of technical and practical coaching to keep everyone moving.

A big thank you to all the players for coming out in such cold conditions; we hope they all enjoyed it.
